The Perfect Daydream

“The Perfect Daydream” is a musical comedy of a woman falling in love with a daydream of her perfect man, then finding someone different (and better) in real life. The musical features 25 songs in a variety of styles ranging from gospel to pop to light country.

The show premiered at The Attic Theater in Los Angeles, California, in the spring of 1985. In the winter of 1986, the show had its New York premiere in a cabaret-style performance, sponsored by the off-Broadway theater organization “Broadway Tomorrow.”
